Fly Protection
All Sunbrero masks offer superior fly protection with their unique reinforced eye darts, providing the clearance necessary for a comfortable all day solution. Available with 3 types of face mesh, from ultimate sun protection to a lightweight material suitable for riding in.
Comfort
Every Sunbrero has triple fleece padding around the brow and noseband offering comforts most horses will only dream of.
They also feature clearance for the eyes that is second to none while the elasticised Velcro® closure around the nose is the ultimate in grazing comfort.
Durability
Unlike most fly veils that have little support, the eye darts on a Sunbrero are strengthened with 5 layers of mesh.
This makes the eye section practically impossible to invert, minimising the risk of injury from rubbing or sticks etc. It also offers a small, extra shaded area above the eye.
All Sunbrero products are handmade using premium grade materials and sewn exclusively with UV stabilised threads.
The fly veil face would be suitable if the mask is to be worn after dark or if poor vision (due to age, injury or illness) is a factor.
Safety
For your horses comfort, we don’t recommended a mask be used 24/7 but if they must, a well fitting Sunbrero definitely will be the safest and most comfortable!
